Is this surface, the only place of purpose?
What are we doing?
As we wander this cryptic land, unaware of what
Surrounds our minds and moves our sand
The forceful wind that forged this land
The blood of everything, forever unseen
From above, the abyss stares down on us
Yet we are clueless of our surroundings
Our vision impaired by our own misactions
Hollow thoughts, created in our veins
After our final breath, when we’re embracing death
For a brief moment will we understand what our place is within this mess?
Or are we all alone? Through these endless depths do we roam?
An experiment and upon this new world we were thrown
Maybe it’s all a dream
And the air we breathe is part of what we see
As we hallucinate visions of our reality
Admire the beauty
That has emerged to create our surroundings
Unending sights
By darkness or day, we all admire this gorgeous array
The earth autonomously turning below our feet
We have no hope of understanding why we’re underneath this sky
But when we die, the earth will wave goodbye
How wonderful
Is the air we breathe,
Is the earth beneath us
A mystery, that’s how it seems to me
A place of endless wonder
Empowered by what our eyes cannot yet see
Without a strain or effort, the puzzle fits together
In an unexplainable way
Wonderful
And moves our sand
The forceful winds that forged this land
Of our home
I wonder in search for answers
It’s purpose a mystery to me

At first I wasn't so sure about getting this one, it was part of a long list of music I had to listen to, and I knew that at the time I liked it and kept it in my list to buy for a reason but couldn't remember why, but I do remember now, this is way too intense to be forgotten, you made a new fan to this day and will follow you closely from now on!
